Robot meta tags let you utilize a
granular, page-specific approach to controlling how an individual page
should be indexed and served to users in search results. In that sense,
you can somewhat control how search bots
see and serve your page. Every major search engine has its set of robot
meta tags, and often they're the same. You can, however, use search
engine specific robot meta tags to control how your content is shown to
users on Bing.
Bing supports most of the popular robot meta tags. Each of these tags
can also be emitted as X-Robots-Tag: in the HTTP response headers for a
